About The Farmhouse
The history of 912 Bethlehem from home, business, restaurant to event destination
The Farmhouse is a wedding, event and special occasions venue that was purchased and renovated by Seth and Stephanie Woodall in 2021.
The original home was a four room log house that was built in 1897 and was the home place of the Thomas Family. The home was purchased by William D. Goldston, JR., in 1971 and renovated into the business office of Goldston Transport, Inc. a trucking company owned and operated by Mr. Goldston.
After selling his business, Mr. Goldston and his wife, Beverly, decided to renovate the home into their primary residence, where they lived until 2011, when the Goldstons built another home on the farm that was more conducive to their stage of life.
After moving from the home, Mr. Goldston once again renovated the home into “912 Bethlehem,” which was a restaurant that served the Eden and surrounding communities until 2018. Mr. Goldston closed it’s doors in 2018 and the home sat dormant until it was purchased by the Woodalls in April of 2021. At that time, it was once again renovated to serve the needs of the community for weddings, events and special occasions.
